We offer a patented or-16 release on the back, and a Big Jon otter release on the front. When a fish strikes, or if you just want to change a lure, the tappered otter release disengages. This allows the Zboard to "trip", and turn backwards on the line. Your board will stay right were you clipped your line behind the pin in the or-16 release. This allows you to always fight the fish and never the board. The advantages to not fighting the board are staggering.
